Museum
The Byobu Museum has been certified under the “Small Museum Movement” initiative of Sumida Ward in Tokyo. We open our showroom to promote the cultural preservation and wider appreciation of folding screens. Our permanent exhibition features displays explaining the structure of folding screens, the tools used to make them, and historical timelines. Some screens are available for visitors to handle and examine first-hand. We warmly invite you to visit us.
